Although it’s an impossible task to have a favourite, there is something about a Wintergreen which is both adorable and cheeky. With its bowed head and sticky out tongue, it just makes me smile!

And clearly I’m not the only fan, since they have many nicknames such as St Olaf’s candlestick, frogs reading lamp, shy maiden and wax flower.

There is many others to collect, so I’ll be hoping to spot other Wintergreens in the future!
